Life without vigilance like walking with eyes closed...

Sudah banyak di antara kita yang telah melupakan diri kita sendiri tanpa kita sadari. Waktu hidup kita telah kita habiskan hanya sekedar memburu kesenangan (bukan kebahagiaan) dengan mengatasnamakan prestasi, harga diri, atau apapun yang sejenis itu. Dan batin kitapun menjadi sedemikian rapuh tak terurus.

Kering dan rapuhnya batin kita menyebabkan kita tidak sanggup menyikapi permasalahan hidup dan kehidupan ini secara baik. Alih-alih menyelesaikan masalah malah justru masalah semakin bertambah. Dan akhirnya kitapun tampil menjadi orang yang sensitif terhadap kepentingan pribadi tetapi tidak terhadap kepentingan orang lain maupun alam. (Keheningan, 8 Januari 2012)

I gave the name of this blog "Not to Return" to make me keep the spirit and not negligent in this life. I realize that excessive craving and not well controlled and continuously has made us always wander blindly on in the joys and sorrows which in turns. 

 

On the one hand we hope that happiness does not leave us, but on the other hand it is clearly impossible because surely sooner or later suffering will come to replace. And so on ..... This fact must be seen, felt, understood with a clear heart. If not then we will deny this fact and still will not grow to our inner awareness. And most of what we do in this life just to follow our passion and ignorance .... 

And we will also increasingly fragile despite worldliness wrapped in shiny. I had to get out of this situation and will never return again.
